What if the miracle you’re waiting for is already happening? But because it’s not loud or dramatic or all over your personal scoreboard, you’re missing it. Here’s the part that nobody says out loud: The most powerful transformation looks like absolutely nothing while it’s changing everything because those kinds of powerful transformations are foundational. They’re an alignment in progress, and it’s just the kind of miracle that doesn’t need to ask for attention. It just needs a little bit of consistency.

Embracing ‘The Becoming’

If you’re in the space where it feels like nothing’s happening right now, you’re right on time. You’re in what I call ‘the becoming.’ It’s the part where you stop performing and start aligning, where you drop the old patterns, and that’s done through a bunch of tiny decisions that nobody notices and nobody claps for. But you know what’s going on. It’s the in-between where your maybe becomes a heck yeah, and your self-worth stops negotiating because you realize what you’re working towards. It feels weird, wobbly, and sometimes, it’s actually boring. But underneath, you know you’re getting stronger, louder, and clearer about what you want.

Becoming isn’t really some shiny reveal that we see all in one go. It’s this kind of strength that’s quiet and doesn’t need a spotlight to be real. But we’re always wanting to put these spotlights on things. The thing is, you need this phase. You need these slow miracles because when it’s done with you, you don’t just have results, you have roots.

The Importance of Roots

Roots matter more than anyone ever says because surface success is easy to blow over. But when life gets stormy and the wind’s blowing, it’s your roots that keep you grounded. Roots mean that you’re not just reacting anymore; you are anchored. And that’s what happens when things take a while when you have that slow miracle taking place. You don’t rise and fall with every win or wobble. You don’t need applause to know what’s working. You’re not surviving change. You’re being built for it. You’re being built for something bigger.

So, today’s post is for anyone who’s been showing up and getting crickets, those slow miracles where it feels like nothing’s happening. You’re doing the inner work and wondering where’s the shift, where’s the result, where’s the proof that what I’m doing is working? And let me say it plainly—you are on the edge of something meaningful, whether you realize it or not. You are sprouting; you are growing those roots.

The Miracle in the Quiet Moments

We don’t celebrate enough the kind of growth that doesn’t show up in metrics but changes everything behind the scenes. Because when it feels like nothing’s happening, that’s usually the exact moment the miracle is working its way into form. We’ve been conditioned to think speed equals success, and I get it. There’s even that saying, ‘Money loves speed.’ But let’s be real. Wisdom loves depth, resilience loves rhythm, and the kind of success that lasts, it doesn’t always sprint. It roots first.

Big pivots. Big leaps. Big launches. But real change—real change is built like a quiet storm. It looks like nothing, and at times, it feels like, what’s the point? Like you’re showing up to race with no finish line in sight. Just motion after motion after motion with no celebratory moments. But underneath that discomfort is a shift. The slow, steady reprogramming that’s going to carry you farther than any adrenaline ever could if you can just stick with it.

The Journey of Slow Miracles

That’s why it’s called a slow miracle, and one day, it clicks. And just like that, everyone is gonna call it overnight, but you’ll know it wasn’t. It was work. It was dedication. It took faith and belief in yourself. You turned impatience into endurance. You stayed steady in the silence. You made meaning where there was no map. And when it clicks, you are gonna feel it in your bones. Not because it was fast, but because it was real, and it took so much effort.

You’ll realize that what seemed like a delay was actually the chance you needed to develop something greater inside you, and you were living the miracle the whole time. It just didn’t look the way you expected.

I remember a stretch in my business when I had already left the waste world and I started pouring everything into this work. I was writing all the time, I was coaching, I was podcasting, creating workbooks, and I was getting good feedback like, “That was good. Super inspiring,” but there were no conversions, very little traction, none of the viral moments I thought I should be having. I thought my stuff was really good, and it was cricket.

Was there a moment I was supposed to chase or signal I ignored? Was I just talking to myself? But I kept going. I kept creating. I kept honing my message. I kept showing up and talking, even when the audience wasn’t the size that I expected. I put the words and myself out there. That was the work. That was the miracle.

The Invisible Middle

The miracle didn’t come as a bolt of lightning. It came as a slow burn. One message here and there, one DM, one listener who told me that what I said saved their week or their mind or was helping them move forward. And then I looked back, and I realized the miracle wasn’t the moment they found me. It was every moment I kept showing up for myself, even when it felt like the message wasn’t sticking or the work wasn’t working.

This is part of the resilience arc that doesn’t get enough love. It’s the invisible middle. We talk about the pause, we talk about the pivot, we celebrate the rise, but what about the part when you’re in it and it’s working, but nothing looks different yet?

Building Capacity

This is the part where your nervous system is resetting, where your old patterns are dying off quietly in the background, where clarity hasn’t fully landed yet. But the distraction, the noise, the self-abandonment—that’s already started to leave. It doesn’t look impressive from the outside. People have no clue what you’re working on, but it’s sacred work. It’s the kind that rewires you from the inside out because this is where capacity starts to build, not results—capacity.

And what I mean by capacity is it’s your ability to hold the miracle once it arrives. It’s nervous system readiness. It’s emotional bandwidth—the internal infrastructure that lets you sustain what you once had to chase. Capacity is what makes the breakthrough stick, and without it, you burn up, you blow out, or you sabotage the very thing that you asked for.

Real-Life Choices for Change

Let me show you what that looks like in real life. This is the part where your change doesn’t look dramatic. It looks like choosing to walk away instead of argue, not people-pleasing, even when your brain screams, “They’re gonna be mad,” giving your body what it needs, not what it craves, saying no, and not explaining why. And then, just sitting with the discomfort of that choice without rushing to fix it, soften it, or backpedal just to keep the peace.

It’s not the dramatic decision that gets attention. It’s the steady return to your truth, the one that happens when no one’s watching, but you know what’s happening. It’s where you stop shifting for approval and you start honoring what you actually want quietly, consistently, without over-explaining. That’s the miracle. It’s coming back to yourself and realizing you were never lost, just buried under these expectations that were never yours.

So, here’s what I want you to hold onto: If it feels slow, it doesn’t mean you’re stuck. If it feels quiet, it’s probably working at the root and you don’t need proof to know you’re in motion. You just need permission to believe without it because this isn’t just about surviving that in-between awkward stage; it’s about owning it. It’s about knowing that even in the stillness, you are building something unshakeable.

If today feels quiet, if this week felt like you were doing all of the things with nothing to show for it, let me be your mirror—you are exactly where you’re meant to be. You’re becoming, and the real miracle, it’s not waiting on you. It’s already in motion. So, breathe and keep moving and don’t you dare judge the rise by the silence that came before it.

If this post resonated with you, share it with someone who’s in the middle. Tag me, talk to me, tell me what miracle you are building quietly right now because this movement matters. It’s about foundation—a firm, solid one you can build on again and again and again in ways you might not even see coming. That’s the beauty of slow miracles. But you’re gonna thank yourself later. The bricks you’re laying down now don’t just look good, they last.

Until next time, this is Micah Hill signing off.
